Hogwarts Houses & MBTI

 Which Hogwarts House are you?

I'm re-reading the Harry Potter books in Spanish for language learning purposes.  I am on the second book in the part where Harry talks to the snake and starts to question if he was sorted into the right house.

So it got me thinking about personality types.  There are four houses.  There are four interaction styles.  There are four temperaments.  There are four quadras.  There are four temples...how are the houses organized?  Of course, each of these four arrangements contains different personalities. So which one is it?

I went online and took the Hogwarts test and was placed into Gryffindor; bravery and determination.  Sounds templar to me.  I weighed each of these options.  When you look at the actual personalities it breaks down a bit; Hermione is an ENTJ in Gryffindor.  So is Neville, a Gryffindor, who is more of an INFP to me, not a beta quadra etc. so in that sense there is no definitive answer through and through.  But overall, if you zoom out to the overarching characteristics, I believe that the most accurate, and probable, influence of the houses comes from the socionics quadras.  

So in that light, here are the houses.  Try them on for yourself.

Alpha Quadra (ESFJ, ISFJ, ENTP, INTP) - Ravenclaw: wit, wisdom, and learning.

Beta Quadra (ESTP, ISTP, ENFJ, INFJ) - Gryffindor: courage, bravery & determination

Gama Quadra (ESFP, ISFP, ENTJ, INTJ) - Slytherin: cunning ambition

Theta Quadra (ESTJ, ISTJ, ENFP, INFP) - Hufflepuff: sweet, loyal, and not afraid of toil
