Netflix Movie "He's All That" ESTJ/INFJ Characters
In this remake of the 1999 movie "she's all that", "he's all that" is a well developed character development of the INFJ male. After seeing this movie and pausing a million times to laugh at the uncanny-ness of this character and the INFJ type, I am now suspicious (certain) that playwriters are developing their characters with much more precision using Jungian psychology. Given that this topic is much more wide-spread and accurate than ever (CSJ four-sides of the mind, Linda Berens interaction styles, Pluto's' temperaments) I believe that movies and books will become more and more relatable to whoever the character is that they choose to write about...in this case the INFJ male in high school.
In this movie you will see Ti child and Ni hero as he jokingly (Fe) recounts himself the "fountain of truth in a world of b.s" and Te trickster in his aversion and aloofness towards the popularity contests around him. That same Te trickster is present in his ISFJ best friend Nisha. Also, you will see how he keeps his inner-world to himself and only let in those that he trusts. Although this can be true for every type, it is specific in each type. To some it is their emotions (usually an Fi child characteristic) for example. This movie portrays the INFJ style of "letting someone SEE them when they usually care not to.
The other character types present are:
ESTJ Padgett (main character places a bet with rival)
ESTP Jordan (playboy rapper)ISFP Quinn (Padgett's best friend)
