Of all the 16, which two are most alike?

 So here is the question: of all the 16 types, which two are the most alike?  Is it:

a) introvert/extrovert counterparts (ENFJ/INFJ)

b) lead dom function (INTJ/INFJ)

c) look-alike types (ISFJ/INFJ)

d. last letter different (INFP/INFJ)

or do you stay in the quadra

e) introverted quadra members (ISTP/INFJ)

The answer?  none of the above.

Then which?

My conclusion...duality types.

Duality types?

Let me explain.

The reasoning is as follows:

To start, you need to be within the quadra as they all share the same 4 functions in their conscious mind. 

BUT

Although it might seem that the types with the top two functions alike are the most similar it is actually the dualities because they are the ONLY TWO TYPES WITH THE SAME FUNCTIONS ON THE SAME AXIS'!

The 1-4 are on an axis and the 2-3 are on an axis.

When you look at the ENFJ (Fe-Ni-Se-Ti), they seem most like the INFJ just extroverted (Ni-Fe-Ti-Se).  But when you look closer you realize that this swap puts Ni on a 2-3 axis and not a 1-4 axis as with the INFJ.

Why do the axis' matter?  

The axis' matter because they make up the internal mechanics of the mind.  Just like a clock has it's levers and rotations, so too does the mind. The 2-3 slots relate to each other differently than the 1-4 slots.  They behave in a much more matter of fact way whereas the 1-4 are much heavier when used (in both the 1 and the 4).

There are many commonalities between the types which is what makes this an interesting question, but it all comes down to mechanics.  

You have (for INFJ), ENFJ, INTJ, ISTP, INFP, ISFJ for various reasons.  No one would expect the ESTP for example unless you either know the types or observe the mechanics. 

ESTP (Se-Ti-Fe-Ni)

INFJ (Ni-Fe-Ti-Se)

These are the only two types with Se-Ni on the 1-4 AND Ti-Fe on the 2-3 axis.

This is the same with all dualities.

INTJ/ESFP (ESFP heart surgen Dr. Gundry a very INTJ thing to do).

ISTP/ENFJ my ISTP mother went to nursing school/enfjs skateboarding etc.

ISTJ/ENFP: ISTJs are the kings and queens of puns, ENFPs love to word play. ie will smith ("afrodisiac) in his song "party starter".

INFP/ESTJ (if you think infp's are not good with money? guess again.

ISFJ/ENTP again with the ISFJ, I have one female cousin each of this duality and both are doctors.  They are on differnt sides of the family and do not know each other.

ESFJ/INTP: ESFJ Ariana Grande looking rather INTP-like wouldn't you say?

ISFP/ENTJ: both are rather bossy creatives.

I hope this post, even if you disagree with it, at least gives you a new perspective to chew on. (yet as an INFJ 1w9 I'm pretty sure I'm correct ;) 

Dualities have a lot to learn from each other as they show each other what their developed self looks like void of insecurity, and also, even if they do not learn or know each other, often do similar activities closely related.  Different on the outside perhaps, yet their inner selves are quite similar.
